The Cost of Freedom

Today, on Memorial Day, we remember those who paid the price for our freedoms.

​I still remember the family gatherings in my childhood where stories and memories were shared.  Often these recollections would turn to those who were no longer with us.  With a quiet reverence, memories were often recounted of sons, brothers, uncles and cousins who paid the cost of freedom for each of us.
